LEATHER-clad bikers roared into Castleford to check out a motorcycle show of vintage, restored and rare machines.
More than 300 easy riders revved through the gates of Castleford and District British Motorcyle Club's display on Sunday despite a last minute field change because of heavy rain.
A road run of enthusiasts led the way from Sherburn-in-Elmet to the event at Castleford Rugby Union Club's playing fields.
Ernie Haslam, president of the motorcycle club, said: "We had to move to the rugby club's practice fields rather than their playing field because the bikes would have ruined the grass for next week's game.

"It was a mad rush but we made it.
"There was an excellent turnout with more than 300 bikes and lots of spectators, it's always a great social occasion for biking enthusiasts.

"All bikes are welcome but we tend to concentrate on the classic ones."
Trade stalls, cheerleaders and refreshments were also on offer at the show, the 24th annual event organised by the motorcycle club.
