CASTLEFORD Tigers joined forces with police to warn pupils at Allerton Bywater's Brigshaw High School about the dangers of drugs.
Youngsters at the Brigshaw Lane school listened to a presentation about the health and social problems caused by taking and selling drugs by Tigers’ community development officer Darren Payne and were told of the penalties of being caught with an illegal substance by PCs Colin Black and Sally Morrison.

Mr Payne said: “The response from all the youngsters was very positive on a subject that a lot of this generation sometimes feels cannot affect them.

“The Tigers and West Yorkshire Police went into the school with a message that everyone at some stage in their lives will come across drugs whether it be a friend or a member of their family and could be affected by it in different ways.”
