I WOULD like to express my sincere thanks to the people of Featherstone who supported me during my year of office as mayor.

It was a privilege to represent the town and it was wonderful to have the opportunity of meeting so many people and visiting schools and different organisations in the town.

I was particularly pleased to be able to support the Help for Heroes Charity and at the annual town council meeting I handed over a cheque for £6638.31 from the various events that were organised during my year of office.

Again I want to thank the everyone who contributed to this fantastic result.
