Thanks for council action

WITH regard to my letter in the Express September 13 issue (‘Look again at service’) complaining about the dog waste bin on the corner of Willowbridge Lane and College Grove not being emptied, I would like to say a big thank you to Darren Lacey of Wakefield Council for his prompt action in dealing with this matter.

Also thank you to his team for emptying the bin and continuing to do so on a regular basis and for providing us with an extra litter bin on the field.

We, the locals, are so pleased not to see overflowing bins any more so, thanks again and keep up the good work.
