TICKETS for Featherstone Rovers' annual summer festival are now on sale.
Organisers of the Party on the Pitch say this year’s event on Saturday August 15 is to be “bigger than ever” with a full day of live music from various tribute acts.

Leading tribute band Statusduo are headlining the event with Girls Alouder and Fr
eddie Mercury impersonator Toni Grant also on the bill.

Alan Hunter, facilities manager at The Chris Moyles Stadium, said: “This year the event will be bigger than ever.

“We have searched the UK for the best tribute acts and we are certain that everyone will enjoy our outstanding line up.

“We hope that the community of Featherstone and surrounding areas head to The Chris Moyles Stadium to join us for a spectacular day.”

Tickets for the festival, priced £10 for adults or £5 for under 16s and pensioners, are available at the Rovers’ shop and the Shindigz store on Station Lane.

Events manager Laurabeth Jaggar added: “We are thrilled to be able to stage this event and in previous years it has been a great success.

“Party on the Pitch is a day where families and friends can come together to enjoy a day of great entertainment in a fun and safe environment while not breaking the bank.”
