DISGRACED mayor Roy
Bickerton was suspended
as a district councillor
last week after a tribunal
ruled he bullied Featherstone
constituents.
Angry residents turned out to a meeting of Featherstone Town Council on Monday to find out if Mr Bickerton was still mayor of Featherstone – but were left in the dark.

Fellow councillors also asked if he would quit his position.

The Express has demanded answers from the council but has been given no reply and Mr Bickerton has refused to speak to us.

It is understood he will not stand down and that he intends to run for
re-election.

Do you think this man should continue to represent the town?

See this week's Express for the full story.
