Students bridge building success

TECHO-SAVVY students tested their team-building skills to build bridges at Featherstone Rovers' Chris Moyles Stadium.
Groups of four youngsters from local schools designed and created their structures using basic materials before the designs were judged in the exciting technology tournament.
The event earlier in the month was the second annual contest organised by the Joint 6 Rotary Clubs, covering branches across the district.
Mayor of Wakefield Coun Allan Garbutt also presented prizes to the winning teams – which were split into three ability groups – at the Post Office Road club.
