FOURTEEN new jobs have been created with the opening of a new Subway sandwich shop in Knottingley.
The store, in The Arcade, is run by franchisee Ian Mathers, who already has plans to open four more shops in the district.
He said: “I’m delighted to have opened my first Subway store and we’re holding a special opening day on Monday, June 1. I’m looking forward to really becoming part of the local community.”
