FELLOW teammates of popular football coach Gary McManus stood in a guard of honour at his packed funeral on Friday.
Hundreds of mourners filed into Pontefract Crematorium for the funeral of Mr McManus, 39, who died of a heart attack on Saturday February 9.
The father-of-four, of Windermere Drive, Knottingley, was a junior football coach, manager, chairman, senior team player and physio of Kellingley Welfare FC.

His teammates and junior team players – including his son Jordan, ten – held a guard of honour in their football kits as his coffin was carried through the crematorium entrance.
Some mourners had to stand outside during the proceedings because of the large number of people attending.

A 53-seater bus came from Yorkshire Television – including the cast and crew of Emmerdale – where Mr McManus worked as a transport manager.
A minute's silence was also held in honour of Mr McManus at Kellingley Welfare FC's away game against Altofts on Saturday.

John Wilson, a first team coach and past president at Kellingley Welfare, said the club had been overwhelmed with the messages of support from clubs across the district.
He said: "So many clubs, such as Ackworth Juniors, North Featherstone and Pontefract Sports and Social, have said they will do fundraising for Gary's wife, Tanya, and family.
"Kellingley Welfare is also going to arrange a friendly match against Emmerdale's cast and crew to help support Tanya and her children."
