A PUBLIC exhibition is currently on show displaying plans for a wind farm near Ferrybridge
Residents have been viewing the plans by energy company E.ON to build up to nine turbines near the town.

The proposals were on display yesterday at Brotherton Parish Hall and are on show today, Thursday May 28, at Monk Fryston and Hillam Community Centre, on Old Vicarage Lane, Monk Fryston, from 1pm to 7pm.

Liz Ambrose, project developer, said: "We want to keep people fully informed about our plans, which is why we're extremely keen for them to come to our exhibition, to meet our staff and to have their say.

"We think this is an excellent location for a wind farm and want to share our views and plans with local residents. We really would like anybody living within the vicinity to come along and talk to the project team about the site and our plans."
