A1 lay-by disgrace

ALL this concern about carbon emissions and Britain's contribution towards global warming really should be put into perspective. Is Wakefield Environmental Services concerned about the litter problem?
I live near the A1 south just past Darrington and the litter that is strewn by the lay-by where the trucks stop overnight is an environmental disaster and nothing has ever been done to provide waste bins or clean up the place.
Further, if I was a shop owner and a nearby resident of Willow Park I would be saddened to see hardly anything gets done to clear the litter and keep the ambient environment around the shops tidy and pleasant.

Instead of all this panic and concern about global warming and the damage to the environment it is supposed to be doing to the world, we just have to look at the immediate environment and ask: just what are the environmental services doing before it gets any worse?

Surely the residents of Willow Park deserve a cleaner environment for the community charges they pay yearly? Surely something can be done about the filth and litter on the A1 lay-by?
Does the environmental department care or want to even address the problem?
