Night of nostalgia

MY friend and I attended the Theatre Royal in Wakefield to see the Kings of Swing.
What a memorable experience. It took both of us back to the 50s, when it was real music and singers.
Bet it was the first time the theatre had rocked for a long time. It reminded us when you used to go dancing at the Kiosk, Parish Rooms, Co-operative, Grosvenor – and that was just in Cas. Then there was the theatre and four cinemas.

Every song that the Rat Pack performed must have been sung on the night. The big band that accompanied the performers was absolutely brilliant.
It was one of the best nights we've had for a long time. I'm sure everyone enjoyed a most memorable nostalgic night.
