Searching for local pictures
IN 1975 my husband and myself emigrated to Australia. We are at the moment writing a little book for our grandchildren to let them know where nan and pop were born – both in Featherstone – where we went to school and worked etc.
To add to this information we are requiring photos of the streets we lived and were born in.
They are Leatham Park Road, Purston; Earl Street, Featherstone; and Mount Pleasant Street, Featherstone.
We also need a photo of the register office, Button Park, Pontefract.
