BERLIN is beckoning to adventurous girl guides who launched a fundraising drive for a cultural trip to the city by holding a car wash.
Daring leaders and members of 4th Knottingley Guides sat in baths of beans, hosed down cars and completed other challenges at Brotherton Parish Hall on Saturday to help raise cash for an exchange to Germany’s capital in July.
The charity drive – called the Big 600 – includes various unusual tasks based around the number 600 and aims to raise £6,600 for the excursion.
