YOUNG twinkle toes from Pontefract's Brendron School of Dancing wowed the crowds with their "happy feet" during a spectacular show.
Youngsters took to the stage to raise £800 for the Thornycroft Centre on Halfpenny Lane – where they hold their classes on Saturday morning – to say “thank you”.

Principal Brenda Briggs said: “It is the first show we have performed for a number of years, but everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we are hoping to visit some of the old people’s homes in the area to give additional performances.”

The children will perform the show – called Happy Feet – to residents of DeLacy Gardens residential home in Pontefract on Sunday June 22.

For more information about the dancing school and its classes, call 07963 981838.
