Fun at town carnival

WACKY and wonderful floats paraded through the streets of Knottingley this weekend for the town's carnival.


Crowds packed the streets to see the procession of floats - with themes including Indiana Jones and Billy Elliott - on Saturday before enjoying an afternoon of entertainment at the carnival.

Linda Stokes, carnival secretary, said: "There were plenty of people who turned out to the parade and on the field and it was a really good day. Everyone had a lot of fun."
