BOLLYWOOD style came to Castleford when budding fashionistas created glamorous looks for a top contest.
Hair and beauty students at Wakefield College's Whitwood campus crafted themed styles for their end of year competition, which was judged by local industry experts.

Callie Hamlett was the overall winner, with Faith Bowering finishing in second place.

Lecturer Lisa Hardisty said "The competition provides an exciting opportunity for students to demonstrate their creativity, knowledge and apply their technical skills.

"All students enjoyed the day and will use the photos from the event for their portfolios.

"This will show potential employers their high standards of skills for this fast growing profession."
