Science students confer for film

SCIENCE students from the area have been talking about their work for a film to be shown at the National Association of Headteachers conference.
The Ogden Trust Science Partnership in Wakefield – which involves Pontefract schools NEW College, The King’s School, Carleton Community High School and Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Wakefield – has made the short film about the partnership and its activities.

The Trust provides finance and support for collaborative science projects to raise the profile of science.

At NEW College interviews between students, staff and Odgen science teaching fellows were filmed, while at The King’s School, filming centred on maths and science in industry and staff involved in the partnership were interviewed on film at Carleton High.
