DAUGHTERS of Molly Wright have pledged to stand by the man convicted of killing their mother.

Rob Casey, Hill's solicitor, said Maxine Hill and Jill Northwood - David Hill's wife and sister-in-law - had "full confidence" in him and his legal representatives were considering launching an appeal.

Reading a statement on behalf of the family, Mr Casey said: "The family of David remain fully supportive of him and are absolutely confident he is not guilty of this offence, despite the jury's verdict.
"They know David better than anyone and know better than anyone his relationship with Molly Wright.

Hill, 48, of Pontefract was sentenced to life with a minimum term of 14 years after being unanimously convicted of Molly's murder.
