BRAVE Michelle Beever shaved her head in a Castleford pub to raise cash for charity Breast Cancer Care.
The 41-year-old – who was diagnosed with breast cancer in November – raised £1,385 from generous donors including family, friends, and her employers TK Maxx, at Whitwood, at the headshave in Castleford’s Healdfield pub.

Michelle said: “My hair had started to fall out, through the chemotherapy, so I thought I could do something about it for charity. My cousin, Michelle George, who also went through breast cancer 18 months ago, actually did the headshave for me. I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who supported me and for helping me through a difficult time in my life.”
