A DIE-HARD fan of sci-fi series Doctor Who has launched a special website to chronicle the final year of actor David Tennant's reign as the Doctor.
Castleford woman Tracy Channell-Napier set up www.thelastyearoften.webs.com with a friend after David Tennant, the tenth actor to play Doctor Who, announced he was quitting the role next year.

Tracy, of Smawthorne, is urging fellow fans to send tributes which will be posted on the website and then made into a scrapbook for Mr Tennant.

She said: “I’ve watched Doctor Who for years and when David Tennant announced he was leaving we wanted to say thank you and goodbye.

“Our website launched last week and its proved pretty popular, with about 100 visits so far.

“As part of it we are encouraging fans to send us tributes to David Tennant in either a short essay, poem or drawing.

“We’d like to get as many as possible for the scrapbook.”

Tributes can be sent to Tracy by email at thedoctorsinvisiblecompanion@yahoo.co.uk.
