CELEBRITIES are ditching the red carpet for a soccer pitch in a star-studded charity football match at Featherstone Rovers.
Two teams of stars – including footballer Lee Sharpe, Royle Family actor Ralf Little and Matthew Lewis, young wizard Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter films – will thrash it out in The Chris Moyles Stadium on Sunday September 21.

Cast members from television soap Emmerdale have formed one squad to play small screen personalities from Coronation Street, Hollyoaks and reality show Big Brother.

Money raised from the game will boost Featherstone Sports and Education Foundation and Debra, a national charity supporting sufferers of the rare genetic skin condition epidermolysis bullosa.

A fun fair, food, and children’s games will also be on offer for fans before the game kicks off at 2pm.

Tickets, priced £5, are available at www.fevshop.com, the White Rose Shopping Centre in Leeds or by calling 01977 702386.

For sponsorship, raffle or auction offers please email lamont_glenn@hotmail.com.
