AN accident on the A1 this morning (Thursday) has caused traffic chaos for commuters.
The collision, involving at least two vans, occurred on the southbound carriageway between junctions 42 Selby fork and 41 Ferrybridge just before 8am.
Two lanes of the carriageway were closed and remained closed at 9.20am.
