A heartfelt thanks

We would like to thank the motorists who stopped to help our son Mark when he had a bike accident on Castlesyke Hill travelling from Ackworth to Pontefract on Tuesday April 16 at around 4.15pm.

A big heartfelt thank you goes out to the geography teacher from Kings School, the two girls from New College, the young couple and the middle aged gentleman who together organized the ambulance while trying to stop the bleeding and keeping him warm.

After having treatment in the ambulance he was taken to Pinderfields Hospital where he had an operation to repair his face and head with almost forty stitches and he his now back at home recovering.

We are so very grateful to you all and your kindness will be remembered always.
