Police have released images of a man they want to speak to after a 17-year-old from Pontefract had his phone and wallet stolen near Leeds railway station.

The incident – which happened on Friday, July 5 at around 11pm near Granary Wharf and the arches under the railway station – was one of a number of offences British Transport Police (BTP) is investigating after a spate of thefts in and around the station.

PC Gavin Lawrence, of BTP, said, “We’re asking for help from members of the public to help us identify these people who we would like to speak to, as we believe they may be able to assist us with our enquiries.”

Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40 quoting B6/NEA of 26/07/2013.
