A third person has been arrested after a gang of masked robbers - one brandishing a firearm - raided a jewellers in Pontefract town centre.
Police said a group of four entered Kingston Jewellers on Ropergate last Thursday (September 11) at around 2.35pm.
They threatened staff in the store before making off with a large quantity of jeweller in a car which was later found burnt out on wasteland off Wakefield Road.
No-one was injured in the incident.
A man was arrested last night (Wednesday) and remains in police custody.
A man and a woman - arrested earlier this week - have been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
