Former hairdresser Lottie Finn celebrated her 102nd birthday with her family and friends last Sunday.

Mrs Finn, from Featherstone, marked the occasion with a little party at the Hemsworth Park Care Home, where she has lived since April 2009.

Before moving to the Kinsley homem, Mrs Finn ran a hairdressing salon in Featherstone. She still enjoys getting her hair done every week and having her nails painted.

Mrs Finn and her late husband David had three daughters and one son.

Georgia Reay, senior carer at the Wakefield Road home, said: “Lottie’s family came down and they had a party for her. We made her some buns and she had a lovely celebration.”
