Police are appealing for information after burglars broke into a city centre charity shop and stole a number of items.

Officers attended the Scope charity shop in Wakefield city centre this morning to find the burglars had broken in through a small window and searched the shop.

They also broke into two locked display cabinets and stole goods including watches, digital cameras and handbags, totalling almost £300.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have any information to call them via 101, quoting the reference number 13160289715.
