Caddick Construction has been named the best construction company to work with for the second year in a row.
The Knottingley firm picked up the award for the Best Main Contractor to Work With (£50m - £250m turnover) at the Construction Enquirer Awards.
More than 10,000 votes were cast by industry professionals, with the top ten in each category invited along to a ceremony in Birmingham on October 10 when the winners were announced.
Andrew Murray, managing director at Caddick Construction, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be named as the best construction company to work with for the second year running. To once again be recognised by industry experts is a huge honour and we’re grateful to everyone who voted. #
“The vast majority of our business is from repeat clients, which is testament to our commitment to delivering on our promises and our collaborative approach to working with our clients and suppliers.”
The ceremony - presented by Channel Four’s architecture expert George Clarke and comedian Seann Walsh - was held alongside the UK’s largest construction trade event, UK Construction Week. It raised more than £4,000 for George Clarke’s charity MOBI, which encourages young people work in construction.
Caddick Construction, which is currently renovating Headingley Stadium, is part of Caddick Group PLC.
