A brother and sister have been nominated for an award in recognition of their fundraising work in the fight against children’s cancer.
Ten-year-old Ella Rigg and her older brother Edward have raised thousands of pounds for Candlighters charity, which supports families dealing with childhood cancer.
The duo have got involved in sponsored bike rides, hula hoop challenges and collections in Asda supermarkets.
And brave Ella, who was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive childhood cancer in 2013, also completed a 40ft abseil down the side of Ripley Castle.
The awards is taking place for the first time and a ceremony will be held at Elland Road in Leeds on September 9.
