Castleford Heritage Trust are appealing for volunteers to help complete grand plans to turn the town’s former flour mill into a major heritage and arts centre.

The trust, which is currently based at Bridge Arts, on Sagar Street, moves into Queen’s Mill, on Aire Street, next week and are appealing for volunteers to help move furniture and stock into their new base this Monday from 11am.

The project will see the building converted into a centre which will include a sculpture and art gallery, cafe and craft classes, heritage centre, community space.
