The arrival of baby Noah Robinson has brought extra joy to two families as he becomes the fifth generation on both sides.
His birth on September 30 means he is the fifth generation born into the families of both his mother Amy Waterland, 23, and father Ryan Robinson, 24.
The five generations are made up of Kippax family grandmother Neil Waterland, 47, great-grandmother Barbara Waterland, 71, and first time great-great-grandad Frederick Coates, 99.
The Knottingley family is grandmother Jane Robinson, 41, great-grandmother Joyce Spencer, 61, and great-great-grandmother Dorothy Wilkinson, 84, who lives in Suffolk.
Joyce said: “Obviously you love your children and grandchildren when they come along, but the love is stronger all the more.
“My heart bursts with love for him, and it’s the same for my mum. She must have 40 grandchildren but this is her first great-grandchild, and she said it’s unbelievable. It’s lovely to see.
“It’s a joy for him to be here in both families for us to see it.”
