Pet workshop at 2pm at Pets at Home Wakefield

Arty angels from 10am until 12pm at Wakefield Cathedral

Children’s corner with books, games, dressing up and a chance to walk the labyrinth from 9am until 4pm at Wakefield Cathedral

Summer play scheme from 9.30am until 3.30pm at Sesku Academy, Burntwood Community Centre, South Kirkby (children aged eight to 13)

Speed drawing from 11am until 4pm at The Hepworth Wakefield

Macbeth production at 7pm at Pontefract Castle

Making bunting and musical instruments at the National Coal Mining Museum

Family fun from 10am until 3pm at The Ridings’ Creation Station

Hidden house Fridays from 11am until 4pm at Nostell Priory

Family activities from 11am until 3pm at Sandal Castle (children aged four to 12)

Under five storytime from 2.15pm until 3pm at Horbury Library, from 10.15am until 11am at South Elmsall Library, from 10am until 11am at Wakefield Library and from 10.30am until 11am at Ossett Library

Revolting recipes cookery course from 10am until 11.30am at Ossett Library (children aged eight and over, booking needed)

1914 inspired scout camp from 11am until 4pm at Nostell Priroy
