Junior showjumpers from Ackworth and District Riding Club will represent the club at the national championships after success in a regional heat.
A team of 11 riders will compete in the championships in September after jumping to success at a qualifying heat at Epworth Equestrian Club, near Doncaster.
The club’s junior novice team, made up of Leila Edwards, Edward Hardy, Victoria Wilson and Isobel Hardy, won their heat.
Then, Alex Proctor, Eliza Yeardley, Bryony Lugton and Chloe Naismith, from the club’s junior intermediate show jumping team, also won.
The youngsters will be joined at the Natural Animal Feeds National Championships in Lincoln by senior riders Chloe Carnevale, Lizzie Reid and Alex Johnson.
Eliza Yeardley will also compete at the event on Saturday, September 7 and Sunday, September 8, after winning a style jumping competition.
Style jumping is similar to show jumping but sees riders assessed on their performance, rather than that of the horses.
Alex Johnson, press officer at the club, said: “Congratulations to all the riders who qualified. There was a fantastic team spirit at the event.”
