Castleford Tigers fans are being asked to line the streets of the town centre this morning as the club’s team bus sets off for Wembley.

Cas will leave the Mend-A-Hose Jungle, on Wheldon Road, at 11.30am, and the club has asked fans to turn out in black and amber to give the team a send off.

The Tigers will take on Leeds Rhinos in the first all-Yorkshire Challenge Cup final since 2005 on Saturday.

The team bus will leave the club’s Wheldon Road ground and travel onto Aire Street, Bank Street and onto Carlton Street before heading to the capital.

A spokeswoman said there will be no parking on Wheldon Road on the day and supporters should instead park in the town centre.

See this week’s Express for a special eight-page supplement previewing the cup final.
