Police believe a Barnsley man who went missing ten days ago may be in Dewsbury or Batley.

James Stephenson, 40, was last seen at around 10.15am on Tuesday March 18, when he left the Cambian Oaks Hospital in Sheffield Road, Barnsley.

He told staff he was going shopping in the Huddersfield area, but never returned.

Despite extensive enquiries across the country, he is yet to be found.

Officers are keen to locate Mr Stephenson to ensure he is safe and well.

There was a confirmed sighting of Mr Stephenson getting on a train in Leeds and getting off the train in London.

He is described as having ginger hair and is approximately 5ft 8ins tall. When last seen, he was wearing a dark overcoat with a grey hooded top underneath and jeans.

If you have any information call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 589 of 18 March 2014.

Last week police said they thought he could be in the Wakefield area.
