A graphic designer from Darrington is rubbing shoulders with the stars of television just four months after setting up her business.
Melanie Oates, 32, started graphics company Typography of Love in January as a hobby and to raise some extra money.
She has already worked with stars from top television shows such as The Only Way is Essex and X Factor.
Miss Oates said: “Last year I started on Twitter just to try and earn an extra few pennies.
“I went on there in the evenings to promote myself and I emailed a few big companies and that’s how it all started.”
Miss Oates, who works full-time as a graphics designer at Minsthorpe Community College in South Elmsall, has designed graphics for The Only Way is Essex’s star Joey Essex’s boutique shop Fusey.
She has also designed graphics for Marcus Collins from X Factor.
Miss Oates added: “I never thought it would take off like it has. I just wanted to earn a bit of extra money.
“It’s hard work but I really enjoy what I do and it’s been fantastic so far.”
