SLIDESHOW: De Lacy Academy pupils mark war centenary

As the centenary of the start of the Great War draws closer, pupils at De Lacy Academy in Knottingley have been remembering those who fought for our country.

Students visited Belgian battlefields, had war-themed lessons and raised money for the British Legion with break-time cake stalls.

A moving remembrance ceremony was also held on Friday.
