Amateur bodybuilder Stuart Smith will flex his muscles at a top international event later this year.
The dad-of-two, of Kipling Grove, Pontefract, will compete in the National Amateur Bodybuilding Association (NABBA) world championships in May.
Stuart was crowned Mr Britain last May before finishing sixth in the Mr Universe competition.
In his first ever competition he finished second in his class at NABBA’s north east regional heat.
He will now compete against bodybuilders from across the world after being personally invited by NABBA.
Mr Smith said: “I never expected to do so well to be honest.
“I would just like to thank everyone and my family for their support.”
