A fire has completely gutted a taxi firm’s booking office in Castleford town centre.
More than 40 firefighters were called to the three-storey building on Bradley Street at around 2.30pm yesterday (Sunday).
A cordon around the former chapel remains in place and the building will be demolished from the first floor upwards.
The blaze also spread to neighbouring flats and a furniture company.
No-one was injured in the incident.
