Final preparations are being made for this year’s MethleyFest which takes place on bank holiday Monday.
The event, held on Church Lane playing fields, will feat music from local bands and a flower and produce show.
There will also be stalls and displays from sports and history clubs.
Leeds City Council has donated £1,300 from its Wellbeing fund to the festival’s organising committee.
Methley councillor James Lewis said: “I’m delighted we have been able to fund what will be another brilliant MethleyFest.
“The volunteers work tirelessly all year round to put on an outstanding day for the whole community and we must thank them for their hard work.
“We look forward to seeing lots of people there this Monday and hope it’ll be a sunny day.”
