Youngsters in Pontefract learned about the First World War and made their own commemorative medals at an event at the town’s museum.
The session, which took place on Friday, was part of the museum’s ongoing exhibition on the Great War.
It explores the war through music, poetry, photographs and medals.
The displays at the exhibition have been created by community groups and Faceless Theatre Company.
It runs at the Salter Row museum until August 31 and it is open 10am until 4.30pm Monday to Fridays and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Saturdays.
