Pontefract residents had the chance to express their views about the future of hospital services at a public meeting in the town.

Board members of Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group gave a presentation at Carleton Grange Community Centre and took questions about the changes.

Dr Phil Earnshaw, chairman of the CCG, said: “We had some fantastic discussions with the people of Pontefract and I was so pleased to welcome so many people into the debate and to hear they found the meeting useful and informative.”

A roadshow takes place on Thursday March 28 at Featherstone Market car park from 9am to 4pm.
