Charlotte Dadds was attacked in her own home by a complete stranger in front of her three-year-old son Jack.

A MUM was repeatedly punched and kicked in the face by a stranger in her own home while her three-year-old son watched in horror.

Charlotte Dadds was viciously attacked at her house in Clayton Court, Featherstone, after answering the door to a woman on October 2.

Miss Dadds, 23, told the Express her son Jack stood “screaming and crying” as the thug grabbed her by the hair and began pummelling her face.

She said: “I answered the door and she said, ‘Are you Charlotte Dadds?’ I said I was and she said ‘right then’ and started punching me.

“I fell back onto the stairs and she grabbed my hair and hit me. My nose burst straight away, there was blood everywhere.

“She kept hitting and kicking me. I was lying on the floor telling Jack I was okay and it was just a game.

“I just kept repeating ‘my little boy’s here, can you stop?’ Jack was screaming and crying, asking what she was doing.”

Miss Dadds suffered a black eye, bloody nose, and cuts and bruises to her face and arms in the assault which happened just after 7.40pm.

She said the woman – who threatened to come back if she reported it to the police – was accompanied by a man who stood waiting outside.

Miss Dadds added: “Most of it was to my head, I had big lumps and bruises and I’ve got lots of bald patches because my head was swollen.

“It was awful. Afterwards I went into shock and I was shaking. I rang my mum to come get Jack and then went straight to the police. I’ve never been so scared in my life.
