Young Voices in the largest choir organiser in the world and currently orchestrates arena concerts every year for more than 2,500 schools and 90,000 children in a series of arena concerts around the country.

The school choir, made up of 37 key stage two pupils, haver learned an eclectic mix of songs from musical theatre to pop, and from rock anthems to Hans Christian Andersen classics.

Colin Birch, St Joseph’s choirmaster for more than 30 years, has been preparing the school choir for their part in the concert.

He said: “It is the first time St Joseph’s has taken part in Young Voices.

“It was recommended to me by a headmaster friend who had participated in the past.

“He said it was an experience not to be missed. The choir is well prepared and very excited.”
