MOTORISTS are being warned to take care while driving along the M62 between Pontefract and Castleford in high winds.
The Highways Agency has issued an “amber alert” for high-sided vehicles, caravans and motorbikes because there is an increased risk of them blowing over in the bad weather.
The organisation is working with the Met Office to monitor conditions during the day.
