Two pictures are brightening up Kippax’s High Street as part of the area’s Windows of Opportunity art scheme.

Couns Keith Wakefield, James Lewis and Mary Harland unveiled the work, along with parish councillors and traders this month. The scheme, funded by the government’s high street initiative, aims to liven town centres with artwork in vacant shops and promote the work of local artists.

Students from Leeds College of Art and Leeds Metropolitan University. The Kippax artwork features work by students Chantelle Abbot Singh and Megan Boiler.
