Arriva Yorkshire is running a new bus service between Castleford and the Junction 32 shopping village in Glasshoughton.

The transport company is replacing the Stanley Gath 134 bus service between Castleford and the retail outlet.

The new 134 restores a direct link from Front Street in Glasshoughton to Castleford. Customers can also travel to Junction 32 on Arriva’s 410 and 411 services, with buses up to every 15 minutes.

Jon Croxford, area managing director for Arriva Yorkshire said; “With unlimited day travel starting from just £3.50 we hope our great value for money tickets will encourage more people to travel with us and explore Castleford and the surrounding areas.”

Customers can purchase Castleford and Pontefract Urban day tickets on any Arriva bus which offers unlimited day travel on services 134, 410 and all other services in the urban zone.
