New cycle parking stands have been introduced at Junction 32 Outlet Shopping Village for staff and shoppers.
Covered cycle parking has been installed for visitors outside the main entrance near Next and staff cycle parking outside the management suite.
It is the finale to a year-long active travel project, designed to get workplaces and communities fitter, run by sustainable transport charity Sustrans, with Health Lottery funding. During the project more than 1,000 staff took part in activities including free bike loans, walks, bike rides and cycle training.
Victoria Mitchell, centre manager, said: “I very much hope that more of our staff and visitors will be encouraged to cycle to Junction 32, now they have somewhere secure to park their bikes.”
