Police appeal over Challenge Cup weekend attack

Police have issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with an assault in Wembley over the Challenge Cup final weekend.

A 20-year-old man was attacked in a pub on High Road at around 5.10pm on Friday, August 22 - the day before the final between Castleford Tigers and Leeds Rhinos.

Officers from the Metropolitan Police force believe the man they want to speak to is from Yorkshire and was in London for the game.

He is described as white, aged 40 to 45, around 6ft 2ins, of very large build with a shaven head and a distinctive tattoo on the back of his neck. He was wearing jeans and a blue Henleys t-shirt.
